New Enhancements

Significant enhancements have been made to the newly available TRANSystem based on feedback from customers.  Since its inception on August 21, 2006, more than 2400 Thruway motorists have signed up to receive TRANSalerts. 

The enhancements are:

  1. Significant enhancements have been made to the system to better target TRANSalert emails to customer most directly effected by the alert.

  2. More specific timeframes have been added.  Customers are now able to select the timeframes most suited to their travel needs by the hour.  See example below:

  3. More options for days of the week have been added.  Customers are now able to select any day of the week.  See example below:

Customers that wish to update their profile, including the region(s) and timeframes, can click on the "Review or update your subscription profile" link in a TRANSalert email or use this Update Profile link.

While the Authority is constantly looking to improve the level of service it provides customers, it realizes that there is always room for improvement. Customers with suggestions regarding the new TRANSalert service are encouraged to contact the Authority at any time and may do so by using our online form.
