Thruway Authority Announces Deck Replacement Work on Tappan Zee Bridge Suspended for November 9 and 12
Operations Cancelled Due to Weather
The New York State Thruway Authority today announced that the scheduled deck replacement work on the Tappan Zee Bridge for November 9 and 12 has been suspended due to inclement weather conditions. The project will resume on Tuesday, November 13 as previously scheduled, weather permitting.
Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) and Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) will be activated.

The Authority offers a free email service called TRANSalert to its customers via email or text messaging to inform them of major unscheduled incidents that may affect their travel on the Thruway.
