Thruway Authority Announces Fifth Auction of 2009 Scheduled for November 18
Auction Information Available on Website

The New York State Thruway Authority today announced that its fifth public auction of the year will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2009, at 9 a.m. The auction will be held just north of Thruway Interchange 22, on Route 144 (River Road) in Selkirk.

Numerous items will be sold at the auction, including a variety of used car and trucks, automotive and maintenance equipment, and other miscellaneous items. All items will be sold as is with attachments, parts, accessories or quantities as shown at the time of sale.

Items may be inspected the day prior to the sale, Tuesday, November 17, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. On the day of the sale, November 18, inspection of items for sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. The sale will be held primarily outdoors and conducted regardless of weather conditions.

The Authority would like to remind the public that auction information is available at the Authority’s website http://www.nysthruway.gov/purchasing/auction/index.html or by visiting the Authority’s homepage www.nysthruway.gov, and simply clicking on the button “Public Auction Schedule” in the left-hand column to view auction dates, item descriptions and directions to the auction site.
