Thruway Authority Announces Fuel Services to be Temporarily Suspended at Ardsley Travel Plaza
Restaurant and Restroom Services Will Remain Available
The New York State Thruway Authority announced fuel services will be temporarily unavailable at the Ardsley Travel Plaza, located on I-87 northbound between Interchanges 6A (Yonkers Toll Barrier) and 7 (Ardsley), at milepost 6, beginning at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, November 10, 2009, due to scheduled dispenser replacement work. Restaurant and restroom services will remain available to motorists during this work.
It is anticipated that fuel services will be restored by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, November 10.
Northbound motorists in need of fuel services are advised to stop at the Sloatsburg Travel Plaza, located approximately 27 miles beyond the Ardsley Travel Plaza, between Interchanges 15A (Suffern Rt. 17N) and 16 (Woodbury Toll Barrier), at milepost 33.
The Authority will activate its Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) and Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) prior to the Ardsley Travel Plaza to inform northbound motorists of the limited fuel services.
