Traffic Advisory: Thruway Authority Announces Two Right Southbound Lanes on Tappan Zee Bridge Reopened

The New York State Thruway Authority announced that two right southbound lanes on the Tappan Zee Bridge have been reopened.  They were briefly blocked earlier today during the morning commuting hours due to a multi-vehicle accident.

During the closures, the Authority activated its Highway Advisory Radio (HAR), Dynamic Message Signs (DMS), and issued a TRANSalerts to subscribers to advise motorists of the lane closures.

The Authority appreciates motorists' patience during this time.
