TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Thruway Authority Announces All Eastbound Lanes Blocked Between Interchanges 41 and 40
Motorists May Experience Delays, Advised to Seek Alternate Routes
The New York State Thruway Authority announced that all eastbound lanes along I-90 between Interchanges 41 (Waterloo) and 40 (Weedsport), at milepost 314.3, are currently blocked due to a rolled over dump truck. At this time there is a back up of approximately 2 miles.
Authority maintenance crews are on the scene and a tow truck is en route. Motorists may experience delays and are advised to seek alternate routes.
The Authority activated its Highway Advisory Radio (HAR), Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) and issued TRANSalerts to subscribers to advise motorists of the lane closures.
At least one lane will be opened to traffic as soon as conditions safely permit.
The Authority appreciates motorists' patience during this incident.
