Traffic Advisory Update: Northbound Lane Blocked on Tappan Zee Bridge
The New York State Thruway Authority has announced that all lanes on the Tappan Zee Bridge are currently open.
A northbound lane was blocked earlier this morning reducing the bridge to one northbound lane near milepost 15.0. Residual delays still exist and motorists traveling northbound are advised to plan for delays.
The Authority has activated its Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) and Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) and issued a TRANSalert to subscribers to notify them of the incident and resulting delays.
The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists’ patience and apologizes for this inconvenience.
