Traffic Advisory: Northbound Lane Blocked on Tappan Zee Bridge

The New York State Thruway Authority has announced that the left northbound lane on the Tappan Zee Bridge is currently blocked and reduced to one lane near milepost 15.0.

Motorists traveling northbound are advised to plan for delays and may want to seek alternate routes. Lanes will be reopened as soon as conditions safely permit.

The Authority has activated its Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) and Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) and issued a TRANSalert to subscribers to notify them of the incident and resulting delays.

The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists’ patience and apologizes for this inconvenience.
