Thruway Authority Announces One Westbound Lane Reopened Near Exit 24 (Albany I-90 & I-87) on I-90

The New York State Thruway Authority announced that the right westbound lane, at milepost 148.2 on I-90, has been reopened to traffic just west of Interchange 24 (Albany I-90 & I-87). All westbound lanes had been temporarily closed due to an accident involving a tractor-trailer and a pick-up truck.

State Police, Authority Maintenance crews and Emergency crews are still on the scene at this time and the left and center lanes will be reopened as soon as conditions safely permit.

The Authority has activated its Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) and Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) to advise motorists of the lane closures.

The Authority appreciates motorists' patience during these incidents
