Thruway Authority Announces Lane Closure on I-84 Between Exits 16 & 17
Motorists Traveling Eastbound Should Expect Delays

The New York State Thruway Authority announces that the right and center lanes on I-84 eastbound between Exits 16 (Taconic Parkway, New York, Albany) and 17 (Ludingtonville Road) have been temporarily closed due to an accident involving two tractor trailers.

Maintenance crews are on the scene and the lanes will be reopened as soon as conditions permit.

Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) and Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) have been activated to inform motorists of these lane closures.

The Authority appreciates motorists’ patience during this time.
