Traffic Advisory:
Pothole Repair on Tappan Zee Bridge to Necessitate Southbound Lane Closure
Motorists May Experience Delays

The New York State Thruway Authority has announced that a pothole repair on the Tappan Zee Bridge will necessitate the closure of a right southbound lane. The lane will be reopened as soon as the repair has been completed.

Motorists are may experience delays and are reminded to remain alert, reduce speed and be aware of their surroundings while traveling through the work zone.

The Authority has activated Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) and Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) to advise motorists of the closures.

The Authority appreciates motorists’ patience and understanding while this necessary work takes place.
