Thruway Authority Announces Lane Closure near Woodbury toll Barrier Due to Construction

The New York State Thruway Authority announces milling, repaving and striping at the Woodbury Toll Barrier will necessitate lane closures.  The work is being done in association with the Woodbury Toll Barrier Highway Speed E-ZPass project.

Alternate left and right lane closures in both directions will be in place beginning Monday, May 5 through Friday, May 9, 2008 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. from two miles south of the Woodbury Toll Barrier and will extend two miles north of the barrier, weather permitting.

The Authority has activated Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) and Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) to advise motorists of the lane closures.

The Authority appreciates motorists’ patience and understanding while this necessary work takes place.
