Thruway Authority Announces Diesel Fuel Temporarily Unavailable at Oneida Travel Plaza

The New York State Thruway Authority today announced that diesel fuel is currently unavailable at Oneida Travel Plaza, located at milepost 244 eastbound, between Interchange 33 (Verona, Rome, Route 365) and Interchange 32 (Westmoreland, Rome, Route 233).

Eastbound motorists in need of diesel fuel are advised to stop at DeWitt Travel Plaza, located approximately 36 miles prior to Oneida Travel Plaza at milepost 280, near Interchange 35 (East Syracuse, Carrier Circle). The next travel plaza with available diesel fuel services beyond Oneida Travel Plaza is Indian Castle Travel Plaza, located approximately 34 miles east at milepost 210, near Interchange 29A (Little Falls, Dolgeville, Route 169).

The Authority will activate Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) to alert motorists' of the temporary lack of diesel fuel at Oneida Travel Plaza. Diesel is not expected to be available until late this evening.

The Authority appreciates motorists' patience and understanding during this period.
