Thruway Authority Announces All Lanes Reopened on I-87 Northbound Near Interchange 5 (Yonkers, Central Park Ave, Route 100)
The New York State Thruway Authority announced all northbound lanes have been reopened at milepost 2.4 which is located between Interchanges 5 (Yonkers, Central Park Ave, Route 100) and 4 (Yonkers, Cross County Parkway) on I-87. They were closed earlier due to a serious personal injury accident.
The Authority had activated its Highway Advisory Radio and sent TRANSalerts to subscribers to advise motorists of the lane closures.
The Authority appreciates motorists' patience during this time.
