Thruway Authority Announces Two Lanes Blocked Westbound On I-84 Near Exit 12
Motorists May Experience Delays
The New York State Thruway Authority announced that two westbound lanes are blocked on I-84 near Exit 12 (Fishkill) at milepost 45.8 due to a jack-knifed tractor trailer. At this time the left lane is open to motorists, but delays may still exist.
Motorists familiar with the area should plan for delays and may wish to seek alternate routes as traffic is backed up approximately 5 to 10 miles.
State Police and emergency crews are on the scene at this time. The westbound lanes will be reopened as soon as conditions safely permit.
The Authority has activated its Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) to advise motorists of the closures.
The Authority appreciates motorists' patience during this time.
