Fuel Services Temporarily Suspended at Mohawk Travel Plaza
Restaurant and Restroom Services Remain Available
The New York State Thruway Authority announced that fuel services at the Mohawk Travel Plaza, located eastbound between Interchanges 27 (Amsterdam) and 26 (Schenectady West), milepost 172, have been temporarily suspended due to an electrical issue. Restaurant and restroom services remain available to motorists.
Eastbound vehicles in need of fuel are advised to stop at the Indian Castle Travel Plaza located approximately 38 miles prior to the Mohawk Travel Plaza, between Interchanges 29A (Little Falls) and 29 (Canajoharie), milepost 210. The next travel plaza beyond Mohawk Travel Plaza is the Guilderland Travel Plaza, located approximately 19 miles past the Mohawk Travel Plaza, between Interchanges 25 (Schenectady East) and 24 (Albany Northway), milepost 153.
Fuel services will be available at the Mohawk Travel Plaza as soon as conditions permit.
The Authority appreciates motorists’ patience at this time.
