Thruway Authority Announces Lane Closures near Woodbury Toll Barrier Due to Construction

The New York State Thruway Authority announces that ground clearing and grubbing near the Woodbury Toll Barrier will necessitate lane closures. The work is being done in association with the Woodbury Toll Barrier Highway Speed E-ZPass project.

The right lane in both the northbound and southbound directions will be closed from Monday, April 14 through Thursday April 17 from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and on Friday, April 18 from 9:00 a.m. to noon from four miles south of the Woodbury Toll Barrier and will extend four miles north, weather permitting.

The Authority has activated Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) 530AM and Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) to advise motorists of the work being conducted as part of this project.

The Authority appreciates motorists’ patience and understanding while this necessary work takes place.
