Thruway Authority Announces Schuyler Travel Plaza Fuel Services Temporarily Suspended
Restrooms and Restaurant Services Remain Available
The New York State Thruway Authority announces that fuel services at the Schuyler Travel Plaza located westbound between Interchange 30 (Herkimer) and 31 (Utica), at milepost 227, will be temporarily suspended to perform repairs on the canopy of the fuel station on Saturday, December 22, 2007, beginning at 7:00 a.m. Restroom and restaurant services will remain available to motorists.
Motorists in need of fuel services are advised that the closest westbound travel plaza prior to the Schuyler Travel Plaza is the Iroquois Travel Plaza, located approximately 17 miles east of Schuyler. The nearest travel plaza westbound beyond the Schuyler Travel Plaza is the Chittenango Travel Plaza, located approximately 40 miles west of Schuyler.
Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) will be activated prior to the Schuyler and Iroquois Travel Plazas to inform motorists that there are no fuel services available at the Schuyler Travel Plaza.
The Authority appreciates motorists' patience and understanding during this time.
