Thruway Authority Announces Several Travel Plaza Fuel Stations To Temporarily Close for System Upgrades
Restaurant and Restroom Services will Remain Available
The New York State Thruway Authority announces that fuel services at the Ardsley, Pembroke, Clifton Springs and Ramapo travel plazas will be temporarily unavailable, as per the schedule listed below, to perform upgrades on the computer systems.
Restaurant and restroom services at these travel plazas will remain available throughout the duration of this work.
Monday, December 17: Fuel services at the Ardsley Travel Plaza, located northbound just prior to Interchange 7 (Ardsley, Route 9A), will be temporarily unavailable beginning at 8 a.m. to perform upgrades on the computer systems. This project is expected to be completed by 5 p.m.
Northbound motorists are advised that the next available travel plaza with fuel services is the Sloatsburg Travel Plaza located approximately 27 miles north of the Ardsley Travel Plaza, along I-87.
Additionally, fuel services at the Pembroke Travel Plaza, located eastbound just prior to Interchange 48 (Batavia, Route 98), will be temporarily unavailable beginning at 8 a.m. to perform upgrades on the computer systems. This project is expected to be completed by 5 p.m.
Eastbound motorists are advised that the next available travel plaza with fuel services is the Scottsville Travel Plaza located approximately 31 miles east of the Pembroke Travel Plaza, along I-90.
Wednesday, December 19: Fuel services at the Clifton Springs Travel Plaza, located eastbound just prior to Interchange 42 (Geneva, Lyons, Route 14), will be temporarily unavailable beginning at 8 a.m. to perform upgrades on the computer systems. This project is expected to be completed by 5 p.m.
Eastbound motorists are advised that the next available travel plaza with fuel services is the Port Byron Travel Plaza located approximately 27 miles east of the Clifton Springs Travel Plaza, along I-90.
Thursday, December 20: Fuel services at the Ramapo Travel Plaza, located southbound just north of Interchange 15A (Sloatsburg, Suffern, Route 17N, Route 59), will be temporarily unavailable beginning at 8 a.m. to perform upgrades on the computer systems. This project is expected to be completed by 5 p.m.
Southbound motorists are advised that should they need fuel, the Modena Travel Plaza is located approximately 30 miles north of the Ramapo Travel Plaza
Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) will be placed before the Ardsley, Pembroke, Clifton Spring and Ramapo travel plazas notifying the public that fuel will be temporarily unavailable.
The Authority appreciates motorists’ patience as these projects take place.
