Thruway Authority Announces Bridge Repairs Near Interchange 45 (Rochester, Victor, I-490)
Motorists Traveling on Willowbrook Road May Experience Moderate Delays

The New York State Thruway today announces that preventive safety bridge repairs will take place on the Willowbrook Road Bridge, located near Interchange 45 (Rochester, Victor, I-490), milepost 350.99.  This repair work will cause intermittent closures on Willowbrook Road until 5 p.m. today, weather permitting. Motorists may experience moderate delays.

Willowbrook Road, a single lane roadway in Victor, is a local connector between High Street and Rowley Road which is located beneath the New York State Thruway.

Thruway maintenance crews will remove loose concrete from the bridge and culvert at this location. It is anticipated that these repairs will have no impact on traffic at Interchange 45 (Rochester, Victor, I-490).

The Authority appreciates motorists’ patience during this work.
