Announces Lanes Reopened Between Interchanges 56 & 57 Eastbound

The New York State Thruway Authority announces that all eastbound lanes between Interchanges 56 (Blasdell, Mile Strip Road, Route 179) and 57 (Hamburg, Route 75), milepost 434.2, are now reopened to motorists. Lanes were temporarily closed earlier due to an accident involving a tractor trailer and a passenger vehicle.

The Authority appreciates motorists’ patience during this incident.
