Accident Between Interchanges 56 (Blasdell, Mile Strip Road, Route 179) and 57 (Hamburg, Route 75) Eastbound
Motorists Should Expect Delays

The New York State Thruway Authority announces that all eastbound lanes are closed between Interchanges 56 (Blasdell, Mile Strip Road, Route 179) and 57 (Hamburg, Route 75), milepost 434.2, due to an accident involving a tractor trailer and a passenger vehicle. Motorists traveling through the area should expect delays.

State Police are on the scene and emergency vehicles are en route.

Lanes will reopen as soon as conditions permit.

The Authority appreciates motorists’ patience during this incident.
