THRUWAY AUTHORITY ANNOUNCES LANES REOPENED ON I-190 SOUTH GRAND ISLAND BRIDGE

The New York State Thruway Authority announces that the left southbound lane on the South Grand Island Bridge on I-190 has been reopened.

The lane was closed earlier due to an accident caused by icy weather conditions.

Motorists traveling in the area may experience residual delays and are encouraged to drive with caution in the area due to icy weather conditions.

The Authority appreciates motorists' patience during this incident.
