THRUWAY AUTHORITY ANNOUNCES LANE CLOSED I-95 NORTHBOUND NEAR CONNECTICUT STATE LINE

The New York State Thruway Authority announces that the right northbound lane on     I-95 just prior to the Connecticut State Line is temporarily closed due to an accident.

Emergency crews are on the scene and the lane will reopen as soon as conditions permit.

Motorists traveling northbound in the area are currently experiencing an approximate five mile backup.

Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) has been activated to inform motorists of the lane closure.

The Authority appreciates motorists' patience during this incident.
