THRUWAY AUTHORITY ANNOUNCES OVERNIGHT LANE CLOSURES ON I-95 (NEW ENGLAND THRUWAY) APPROACHING INTERCHANGE 22
Joint Repair Work Necessitates Overnight Lane Closures Southbound

The New York State Thruway Authority announced today that joint repair work on I-95 (New England Thruway) will necessitate the overnight lane closure of the right and center lanes southbound at milepost 14.93 beginning at 10 p.m. on Monday, December 11, 2006.

Milepost 14.93 is located between Interchange 22 (Port Chester, Midland Avenue) and the Connecticut State Line on I-95 (New England Thruway).

The right and center lanes southbound on I-95 will be closed for joint repair work, beginning tonight, from 10 p.m. on Monday, December 11, 2006, at 11:00 p.m. and willthrough 5 a.m. on Tuesday, December 12.

The scheduled lane closures are subject to change due to traffic, weather or emergency situations. At all times, at least one lane of traffic will remain open in the direction of the closure.

The Authority has activated its Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) on 530 AM and Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) to alert motorists of the closure.

The Authority appreciates motorists’ patience during this time.
