TRAFFIC ADVISORY:
THRUWAY AUTHORITY ANNOUNCES DELAYS NEAR INTERCHANGE 42 (GENEVA)

The New York State Thruway Authority announces that the right westbound lane approximately three miles west of Interchange 42 (Geneva) is temporarily closed to allow a tractor trailer that went off the road earlier to be removed.

Maintenance crews are on the scene and the lane will be reopened as soon as conditions permit.

Currently there is an approximate three mile back up.

Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) has been activated informing motorists of the delays.

The Authority appreciates motorists’ patience during this time.
