THRUWAY AUTHORITY ANNOUNCES NIGHT WORK ON
TAPPAN ZEE BRIDGE
Lane Closures Scheduled Northbound Overnight

The Thruway Authority announced today that deck repair work on the Tappan Zee Bridge will necessitate the overnight closure of two right lanes northbound at milepost 14.67.

The two right lanes northbound on the Tappan Zee Bridge will be closed from 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 6 through 5:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 7.

At all times, at least one lane of traffic will remain open in each direction of the closure.

The Authority appreciates motorists’ patience and understanding as these necessary repairs continue.
