East, Other, Special 48A, The New York State Thruway Authority announced fuel services will be temporarily unavailable to motorists at the Pembroke Travel Plaza, located on I-90 eastbound between Interchanges 48A (Pembroke) and 48 (Batavia), at milepost 397, beginning on Monday, March 16, 2009, due to a fuel service renovation project. The fuel outage is expected to last for several months.
Effective May 18, 2009 truck parking will be temporarily reduced by 15 parking spaces due to soil remediation.
Motorists should be advised truck parking is reduced.
Work on the fuel service renovation is continuing. The travel lane and work area will be delineated.
During the fuel renovation projects, restroom and food services will continue to be available to motorists 24 hours a day at the travel plazas.
