Amended Section 100 of The Standard Specifications
as modified by a Thruway Contract Proposal

The Authority currently uses the Metric Standard Specifications published by the Department of Transportation dated January 2, 2002 as modified by the Authority's Addendum, TA (03). The Authority is in the process of converting to the Department's 2008 Standard Specifications and is in the process of rewriting it's Addendum to conform to the new English Standard Specifications. The Authority plans to begin using the 2008 Standard Specifications for contracts let after June 1, 2009.

Contractors are required to conform to the Standard Specifications referenced in the Contract Documents, as modified by the referenced TA Addendum and other special notes included in the Contract Documents.
